Hi! My name is Emma and I just finished my sophomore year of college. I go to Duquesne University and am majoring in Early Childhood Education. I am so excited to start my junior year and get closer to being a teacher. I play lacrosse, love to cook/ bake, be active and exercise as well as spend time with family. When I was 10 I began as a ‘mother’s helper’ and watched children while the mom did chores, cook and more while I occupied the children for a few hours. When I started, I watched children from 5 months to 4 years of age and then progressed the age of who I watched. As I got older I transitioned into babysitting. I have babysat several different families; all different age, genders and capabilities. I have watched groups of 4 or more children as well, along with being hired several times Read more to watch groups of 20+ children during holiday parties in order to let the parents have time with friends. This consisted of taking care of them, making sure they got food, had fun, watching infants, leading crafts and etc. These children were 3 months to 12 years of age. I have also nannied a few children as well, and go to homes to tutor children in their schoolwork. I am very passionate about children! I have all of my clearances and background checks, and would be happy to provide you with these. Along with this I have my babysitting course certification from Red Cross, CPR/AED training and first aid training. I also have worked at a summer camp which ages from pre-K to 8th grade for 4 years and am currently the camp coordinator. I would love to get to know your kiddo/s! :)
