Hi! My name is Rebecca Schwartzman. I am currently a Junior at the University of Pittsburgh studying Media and Professional Communications. I am originally from Virginia Beach, VA and am 21 years old. My experience with childcare is extensive. I began baby-sitting in high school for neighborhood and local families. In the summer of 2015, I worked at an overnight camp as a babysitter for the director's three children. This was an incredible learning experience for me as I was able to plan fun activities and keep the kids entertained. During Fall Semester of 2017 I had a six- month internship in New York. I was living in Brooklyn and found myself with free time in the late afternoon/evening. I picked up a babysitting job for a family with a 12 year old son. I would walk him home from tutoring, prepare dinner, help with the remainder of his homework, Read more and get him ready for bed. Every summer since 2015 I have returned to the overnight camp to work as a camp counselor, which has been my favorite job to date! During school breaks I substitute at a local toddler care/pre-school program in my hometown. I am responsible, outgoing, and incredibly attentive.
