I am a sophomore at Bloomsburg University. I am studying psychology because i would like to be a child psychologist. I love kids! Since i was 10, i've always wanted to help out with children. When i was around 11 years old, i took a babysitting training course & became American Red Cross CPR certified for children. I became a mothers helper when i was 12-13 for my neighbor that had 3 boys, one being a toddler and another being a newborn. Ive been a babysitter since i was 13. Ive babysat for neighbors, family, coworkers of my parents, & all of them referred me to their friends. My freshman year in high school, so around when i was 15, i got a job at a summer day camp. I work with kids going into kindergarten through second grade. I have a group of about 30 kids just between me Read more & one other volunteer, so i'm very experienced with working with alot of kids at once. It is my absolute favorite thing. Its only for a few hours during the day, everyday during the week, but i do lots of fun things with the children. We do crafts, play playground games, play outside, watch movies on rainy days, & we go on field trips. This will be my 5 year working there this summer & i absolutely love it. Im responsible, trustworthy, & very organized!
