I've worked with kids since I was basically 8 years old. As the oldest of four children I learned early on how to help out with babysitting my siblings. From there my Parents friends asked me to watch their children over the years. Throughout high school I continued gaining experience by working with kids on a summer swim team and winter swim lessons. While in college i volunteered as a tutor to kids at an after school program. After graduating college, I was blessed to be an aunt for the very first time and have loved every minute of it. My nephew is 2 years old and spending time with him knowing that I am responsible for making him happy yet teaching him valuable skills for the future is one of my favorite things to do.
