I have decided to become a babysitter due to the fact that I have always taken care of my younger sister. Taking care of younger sister motivated me to continue to care for other children when their parents were working or went out. By the time I was six, I had already learned to change diapers, bathe her, feed her, etc. I have also babysat many other children in my lifetime. I love children, they all get along with me extremely well and I get along with them as well. I'm a very gentle, caring and soft spoken person, I only show authority when it is necessary, which is rare. For example, if the child and I are out in public and he/she starts running around, I gently tell the child to calm down and if they do not listen, I just hold their hand for the remainder of the Read more time we are outside. To me, babysitting is important because it has really taught me to be extremely responsible and reliable. It has taught me how to care for someone other than myself, I love babysitting.
