My name is Kaylah Kerschner and I am currently working toward a Bachelors degree in Human Development of the Family Sciences through The Pennsylvania State University. I am a one year old teacher at a local child care center in Reading, Pennsylvania; however, I am looking to relocate to Delaware in the near future. I have been working with children since I was 14, and have acquired various certificates and trainings in Early Childhood. Some of these trainings and certificates include CPR and First Aid Training, health and safety training, all updated clearances, and various job titles that were obtained from an Early Childhood Education Program at the Career and Technology Center I attended. Ever since I was young, I loved being around children. My favorite thing about caring for young children is the ability to know that I am teaching them things that can help them become successful in Read more their future lives. I am very creative and love to be outdoors. Children learn the most from exploring and discovering on their own. Giving children the chance to be outdoors and participate in not only art activities, but also fine motor, science, and other areas of development it is encouraging the want to learn on their own without set direction.
