I have worked several jobs by this time in my life. But none have been better than being a Mumma and especially a Grandma. I am currently 53 years of age, a believer in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. In my past I worked at a daycare, retail, Pizza hut, librarians asst. at SAE and latest as a rural carrier for 7 years at the Post Office in Harmony and Zelienople. In between those times I babysat in my own home for several different families. I also went and graduated a Medical asst training although, I ended up not using it due to my surprise third child. ;) We had moved from Pa where I grew up in Evans City, Harmony and Zelienople to SW Michigan where I did not work, as I was able to stay at home and tend to my family which was very nice. Read more We moved back three years ago due to my husbands medical condition and we have finally settled back home again. We have a Slippery Rock address, but we actually live in Harlensburgh. (they did away with the P.O. here and divided the area up) I am only 6 mins from Volant in the country. As I still do not know what I want to be when I grow up (lol) I still love the little ones and love their innocence as they are not like us adults in this fast paced growing world. I never really wanted much more out of life other than to care for my family and be a homemaker just like my Mumma did and did well. My hobbies are gardening, walks in the woods with my Grandson and dogs, taking care of my furry and feathered kids (3 dogs, 3 cats,ducks and chicks) nature photography and hopefully someday again, back to my love of writing. I am truthful and as you see I smoke, but honestly trying to quit, it's hard, but I do NOT smoke around the kids and it is outside. I do need to be home to care for my husband at nights as he is on home dialysis (PD) and he is hooked up to his machine every night and is very limited to his space and needs. There are times when I can be a little late, but on a regular basis, I would have to say no on that. I have many other contacts if you need them per request. Basically, I am your typical old school Grandma, that is not so spry anymore, but still able to love and care for your sweet babes. I love nurturing and reading and teaching good manners and being silly when we can. Thank you for your time, Laura
