Hi I'm Nicole Smizaski from Tannersville, PA! I am 21 and currently attending Gettysburg College remotely. I have been a camp counselor since the age of 11 and had babysitting jobs since I was 13. I love kids and kids love me because they will never get bored with me. I also value education and motivating kids with reading, writing, wherever they need improvement in. Also, I have worked with special needs for a few years in high school. I was in a program called ECLC in Jersey where students from my hs would volunteer to hang out and play sports with kids our age who were special needs! I feel comfortable and confident babysitting a child on the autism spectrum because of my experience and ability to understand how they are feeling in certain situations and how to alleviate dissonance or stressors they might experience.
