I have recently left my house keeping job of nearly three years and i'am looking to start making difference for young families and their children(s). I have a 20 years old son who has now began his life. My experience in being a parent, mentor and life coach has been the most full filling work i have done in this life time. My son was born in 1994 two months premature, after a month or so in the hospital he was released. Being born two months premature he need some close care after he was released and i decided that no matter what i would take the ultimate personal responsibility for his care. For his first two years i was a dedicated loving dad, unfortunately his mother could not make it work and we split. After a year of shared custody my ex wife had decided that her next partner Read more would be a not so nice guy. So i filed for full physical custody of our son and was successful. So there i was with a four and half year old with ADHD and working to try and support us on a salary of 7.50$ an hour. We moved into low income housing for three years struggling to make ends meet. When i met my current wife in 1999, i finally found a wonderful partner and step mom for my boy. Flash forward to 2014 and finally my work as dad, mentor, teacher and life coach was full filled and my son is out on his own working full time as a Manager for a fast food restaurant and will be entering the national guard this coming spring. Being parent and especially a dad and in a way a mother(emotionally) to my boy is and has been a great honor for me. My experience in this journey has made me a better person for sure. Becoming a dad at age 21 was difficult and quit a learning experience. The biggest lesson learned is that no one person can raise a child or children it takes a loving extended family and friends to help raise them. I know how expensive childcare can be and how difficult it can be to trust strangers with our/your children. The day care i had my son in had more than one care taker that was fired for some slight abuses of the children they were trusted to watch. I have a unique experience of almost losing my son in a house fire as well as three nieces and nephew, unfortunately my sister never made it out of the fire. I understand completely just how precious life is , especially that of our children. With now 20 years experience in the parent game i'am sure that i have the skills to care of your child(s).
