Hi, I'm Shamya, but you can call me Mya! I'm currently in my junior year of nursing school, but don't let that scare you because my schedule is pretty flexible! Especially later in the day and on weekends. I have around four years of professional experience, including babysitting and working at daycares, caring for children ranging from a few months to 10 years! Most recently, I have done occasional babysitting for a 3-year-old whose family I have been with for the past two years! Where we have played games, done activities, and gone on walks (when the weather allows). Plus, I have facilitated bedtime routines and dinner/lunch and aided in potty training. I would be happy to help you and your family with just about anything, including homework help, playing, meal prep, activity planning, cleaning, and even the 'dreaded' diaper duty. In addition to my experience, I love being a Read more caring, compassionate, and positive influence in children's lives. I am Basic Life Support certified with a clean background record and child abuse clearing in PA and MD (my home state!). All of which I will happily provide the results of or have rechecked.
