Why do you love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because I truly enjoy working with kids and making a positive impact in their lives. Every child is unique, and I love building connections with them, helping them learn, grow, and feel safe. Whether it’s reading stories, playing games, or helping with homework, I find a lot of joy in being someone they can trust and have fun with. It’s also rewarding to support parents by giving them peace of mind knowing their children are well cared for. What experience do you have? I currently work at the Kids Klub at LA Fitness, where I care for children of all ages, including those with disabilities. I’ve also babysat for different families, taking care of children ranging from 3 months to 14 years old. These experiences have given me strong skills in supervision, engagement, and adapting to different children's needs and personalities. I’ve also helped with daily routines like feeding, changing diapers, and bedtime. What skills and training do you have? I am CPR and AED certified through the American Heart Association and have gone through background checks and additional training through my job at LA Fitness. I’m fluent in Spanish, which helps me support bilingual families and assist with homework or tutoring when needed. I’m also currently in college studying Allied Health, which has given me a solid understanding of child development, health, and safety practices.

I do have all of my state clearances, children clearances, driving record and fingerprints! Plus CPR and first aid! I just don’t have them through this app. But I can show proof of them ! I love being a sitter because I enjoy supporting children as they learn, grow, and explore the world around them. I have loved taking care of children for over half my life. I worked in an early development daycare for a year and a half , and I couldn't have loved a job more. Teaching and watching kids grow and learn, taking care of their needs , being a form of comfort and guidance,has been so rewarding and I would love to have a job watching over children again. My name is Siena & I’m currently a sophomore at Penn state beaver. My major is communications, sciences, & disorders. I’ve been babysitting since I was 12; I’ll be 20 in Oct. Throughout high school, I was interested in/took a variety of childhood psychology classes and that set me up to be able to participate in the preschool class program. For the last 2 years I worked at the South Fayette summer camp as a counselor for ages 5-12. I really enjoyed that experience and everything it had taught me. The kids are what make the experience fun. They are all sweet, funny, creative, and always leave me on my toes. All my certifications through that are still valid (cpr, criminal, child abuse, mandated reporter, fingerprints, first aid). As of now, I have experience with 5month - 12 years. I don’t typically watch more than 2 kids at a time & I have experience with toddler twins. My college schedule is a little hard to work around so I’m looking for a more consistent job but anything that works around it I’m glad! Tuesdays are fully booked & Thursdays I’m not free until around 3pm. Monday Wednesday & Friday I’m free most of the day.
