I chose to pursue work as a babysitter or nanny because I love children and I have never felt like my past jobs in child care were too stressful - my past daycare jobs are the only jobs in which I never became burnt out. I am empathetic, compassionate, loving, and patient with children. I have a degree in Social Work, however I have past coursework in Early childhood education as well as child development. I have my CPR certification, which is valid until mid-September 2020, and I would of course be renewing this when the time comes. I also have previously obtained my clearances, although a couple of them are around 5 years old, so I could get them renewed if a clean clearance would guarantee employment (since it costs money to get those clearances).
