Hey! My name is Mamie. I am one of 7 children with three big brothers and three little sisters. Growing up with a big family allowed me to learn a lot of lessons about caring for others, and listening to what they need. Flexibility is the most important thing I can provide as a sitter. Adapting to the child's interests will provide the most fun and engaging time. I love to be creative with crafts, games, teaching songs or learning from the child about what they love to do. Each individual is unique and I want to celebrate that! I am currently a student at Millersville University studying Communications and Sociology. On campus, I work as a Tour Guide and Orientation Leader. These positions allow me to meet new people all the time and share with them how I have grown through my life experiences. Helping students adjust to college, Read more and face their fears is very powerful. I enjoy getting to know each student and being exposed to new personalities. I can bring the skills of adaptability and flexibility to the children I am babysitting.
