My name is Amber Key and I am a senior communication studies major at West Chester University. I am studying to become a broadcast journalist and am a fox 29 Junior reporter. I am from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but I currently live in West Chester, PA. I have been a caretaker at the West Chester Area daycare in West Chester, Pa for the past two years. I have worked with children from infants to five years old. As a caretaker, I have been responsible for changing diapers, feeding, and playing with the infants. I have also been responsible for teaching children their name, colors, and numbers. As a caretaker, I have watched children go from being fully dependent on me to change them to taking their first steps and then being able to use the bathroom on their own. I have also worked at a summer camp in Pittsburgh, Pa for Read more two years working with children from ages 3 to 12. I played games, watched educational movies with them along with putting them to sleep for nap time. The most rewarding moment about working with children is being able to make a difference in their lives even if I am not seeing them everyday. I enjoy watching children learn new skills, face new challenges and accomplish them all while having fun. I am trained in used an epipen in case of an allergic reaction. I have also tutored in reading and writing. I LOVE pets and I have no allergies. I look forward to working with you and your children!
