I prefer to watch school aged children who just need to be supervised, need someone to make sure they do their homework, and/or need someone to drive them to their activities. I like cats, but I would prefer not to work in a house with a dog. It isn’t a total dealbreaker though. I have a daughter, and I am 15 years older than my younger brother, so I took care of him all the time. Plus, I have many younger cousins who I babysat for frequently. I watched my neighbors pre-school aged son all day, 2 days a week, for two years until COVID hit. My experience with older children mainly comes from all the years I spent volunteering at my daughter’s school and also teaching CCD at my local church. I like to err on the side of caution to keep kids safe. I am responsible and reliable. Read more I’m not the most creative person, so I’m not great at coming up with ideas for things to do. But if you need someone to keep your child(ren) safe and protected I can do that. I will take care of them as if they are my own. I also do house sitting. I will bring in your mail and packages, turn different lights/tv’s on and off, water your plants, etc. I have some pet sitting experience, but it is mostly with cats

Throughout the past 2 school years Ms. Jennifer has helped my family immensely. She is extremely reliable and a great communicator. Ms. Jennifer has primarily been responsible for picking up my kids from school (preschool and elementary) as well as getting them to activities. Ms. Jennifer noted in her profile that's she's not great at coming up with things to do, but we've found that if you give her a few ideas, she'll follow through and keep them busy. She was great at communicating any info obtained about my son at the preschool pick up. She kept our kids safe and made our lives a lot easier.
