At the age of 14, my ADVENTURE of babysitting began. Living in a gated-community, I drove my bike 10 minutes away to a families home in which I would get their 7 year old off the bus and ‘play’ (I viewed babysitting as something fun to do) with him for a few hours. Since then, I have created many more adventures with numerous families and kiddos of all ages! From building Lego sets, finding arts & crafts ideas, helping parents and kiddos through the horrors of online schooling during COVID-19, going from reading picture books-to-chapter books, being able to see these young future leaders grow; all while I am growing and learning more myself! I completed my Associates Degree - Associates in Science at Harrisburg Community College in 2021. After completing over 70 early education credits, I then transferred to Shippensburg University. I am going into my final semester of my school career (well where I’m the one attending… for now!). In Fall of 2023, I will be starting my semester of student teaching, very exciting! I will be graduating from Shippensburg with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Education PreK-4. I then plan on becoming a full-time sub at a local school district to get even more experience and education in the real-world! I hope to teach either 2 or 3 grade for a few years and eventually resume my studies at Ship for my Masters Degree in Special Education!

Hello! I am a responsible and fun nanny. I enjoy playing with kids, cleaning, and making food. I am very flexible, can multitask, take directions well, and love all adventures - especially outdoors! My goal is to learn something new every day. I am looking for fulltime nanny work, starting June 2nd. Certifications: - Adult, Child and Baby First Aid/CPR/AED - American Red Cross - Carseat Safety - Aspirus Health More About Me Relevant experiences where I also cared for children were… - Watching 6 kids (3-13 y.o.) for 6 days straight while their parents went on vacation - Babysitting my nieces/nephews (1-8 y.o.) over the past four years - Babysitting for families in town, especially (9-18 m.o.) - Helped my sister move her 5 kids across the country in a minivan. - Tutoring humanities and writing (16-21 y.o.) Activities I enjoy doing with children… Going for walks, picking flowers, identifying wildlife, playing yard and card games, singing or playing music (piano, voice), baking, drawing, exploring new toys and games with the children. The most important part about being a nanny… I love seeing each child's personality, their strengths and struggles. As a Christian, my goal is to provide not only for their physical health, but also their emotional and spiritual wellbeing. I believe each person has a purpose, and it is very fulfilling to encourage people to grow better each day. Special Needs... I have experience nannying children with autism and ADHD. My favorite nanny moment… I love hearing children tell stories and learning about what they find important. Once, when my 7 y.o. niece couldn't fall asleep, she called me into her room and told me all about her three crushes. One ran very fast. The other was so strong, but her favorite throws "so far!"

I have always had a deep passion for caring for children, which led me to pursue several internships in childcare during my time in college. These experiences gave me hands-on knowledge in providing attentive and nurturing care, even though I didn’t receive formal certifications. During my internships, I helped children with their daily routines, organized fun, educational activities, and ensured they felt safe and supported at all times. My childcare experience, I have developed strong communication and organizational skills, which help me maintain a structured yet fun environment for children. While I don't have formal certifications, my hands-on experience and commitment to children’s well-being allow me to create a positive and engaging environment for kids to thrive in.

Hi! My name is Bryleigh and I’m 20 years old. I’m the oldest of four siblings so caring for kids has always been a big part of my life. I have over 7 years of experience working with children as a snowboard instructor and I also have prior babysitting experience. I am CPR certified, First Aid certified, and Child & Infant Safety certified through the Red Cross. I also have up-to-date yearly child abuse clearances, PA criminal background checks, and FBI fingerprinting for added peace of mind. I have experience working with non English speaking children as well as children with special needs, and I always make sure every child feels safe, understood, and comfortable in my care. I am patient, dependable, and genuinely love creating a fun, calm, and supportive environment for kids. I know times are rough and childcare is hard to find right now, so I am more than willing to work out a fair price that feels comfortable for families, especially with the holidays coming up. My rates typically range from $12–$20 per hour depending on the care needed, and I’m always open to discussing what works best for your situation.

Hi! I’m Shambhavi—a University of Pittsburgh graduate with degrees in Sociology and Biology, and someone who’s always had a deep love for working with kids. Even though I’m not a parent myself, I’ve felt like a second mom since I was young. I grew up with a little sister who’s 8.5 years younger than me, and from the time she was born, I was helping out—feeding her, playing with her, doing school drop-offs, and everything in between. That experience really shaped how naturally I connect with children and how much joy I get from caring for them. Professionally, I’ve worked in both healthcare and education. I’m a certified nursing assistant (CNA) and worked as a medical assistant at a pediatric clinic, so I’m confident handling everything from bumps and bruises to more serious situations with calm and care. I’ve also served with AmeriCorps at the Boys and Girls Club, been a camp counselor, and tutored students throughout my entire academic journey—from elementary to college-level subjects. Whether I’m helping with homework, playing make-believe, or calming bedtime worries, I truly enjoy being a positive, supportive presence in a child’s life. Babysitting isn’t just a job to me—it’s something I care deeply about. I’d love to meet your family and learn how I can help support you and your little ones!
