Hi, My name is Connor Daugherty and I am originally from York, PA. I have a love for teaching and have taught all over the world during my studies in and once I was done school. As I have just finished a term as an Americorps member teaching elementary school students as well as having worked in after-school programs for elementary school students; I would like to continue to work with younger kids while I am off for the summer. I am highly dedicated to education, while still allowing kids to explore the world around them at the same time. I am constantly impressed by what children know and I hope to pass on something from my life that can have an impact on theirs. As I have been working with kids for a long time I have mastered the delicate balance between being a friend and an authority figure.
