I have worked with children most of my life. I used to babysit for neighborhood children when I was growing up. I then went to college for Business Administration but also completed the requirements for teacher certification in Pre-K to Grade 2. I worked for several years with Head Start and then at a child development center (for more than 12 years) in several roles from teaching to administration. I am a mom of a college student and now have more time on my hands so I would like to get back to working with young children again.

I believe in the power of nature as a tool for education and love to spend time exploring outdoors, getting messy, and encouraging growth through play.
