Why do you love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because I truly enjoy spending time with kids and helping create a safe, fun, and positive environment for them. I like being someone they can trust and feel comfortable around, whether we’re playing games, doing crafts, or just having a good conversation. It’s really rewarding to know I can make a difference in a child’s day, even in small ways. What experience do you have? I’ve babysat kids at my church several times, which gave me great experience handling children of different ages in a group setting. I’ve also worked in kid-focused environments like Chuck E. Cheese, where I was responsible for interacting with families and helping children feel welcome and entertained in a busy, energetic space. These experiences helped me build patience, awareness, and confidence in caring for kids. What skills and training do you have? I Read more have strong communication and multitasking skills, and I’m very patient, reliable, and attentive. I know how to stay calm in stressful situations and think quickly when it comes to problem solving. While I haven’t had formal childcare training yet, my hands on experience has taught me how to manage routines, keep kids engaged, and prioritize safety at all times.
