My name is Sydney D. and I am a 21-year-old URI student currently in the process of becoming an Early-Childhood Education teacher, planning on graduating this coming May of 2016. I love working with kids, I have been doing it ever since I was old enough to babysit my little cousins. I have had multiple jobs in childcare, one of them was working in the Nursery/Daycare room of a Gym. Two of them were also being a camp counselor for summer camps, and along with one of those summer camp jobs, I assisted a pre-k classroom and was the teachers assistant. My most recent job was working at a DayCare in Portsmouth where I was a teachers aid part-time. I have cared for children from the ages of 1 month up until 14 years of age.
