I have been babysitting for the past 7 years and am CPR certified. I have experience working with children of all ages, but especially enjoy infants and younger children. Though I do have a lot of fun with older children as well. I began watching children when my two younger siblings were born. After watching them and caring for them as newborns, infants and young children, I learned that I really enjoyed babysitting. I love art projects, reading, outdoor activities and indoor games. I am comfortable with changing diapers, giving bath time and dealing with any sort of potty training. I am also comfortable caring for newborns and have experience in doing so. For the past two summers I ran a small camp at my house with four children all under the age of five. During my four years at a private boarding school in Connecticut, I volunteered at a Read more school for underprivileged infants once a week. I love being able to see how much I have helped a child. It gives me a sense of accomplishment when I can get a child to sleep easily or even enjoy their veggies! And it's always a plus when I receive some beautiful artwork to bring home with me. I am a psychology student at Salve Regina University, therefore my hours can be flexible as long as they don't interfere with my class schedule.
