Hello, I’m Shauna! I really enjoy working with young children, especially doing art projects or any activities where they can get creative! I also enjoy getting outside, weather permitting, and doing fun games! Some background information on my childcare experience: I have experience taking care of children as young as 3 months old. I am a graduate from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor's of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with a focus on child settings as well as with a minor in Psychology with a focus on child development. Throughout my years at URI, I spent time in day cares and child development centers. I am currently employed as a Medical Assistant but have previously worked as a behavior specialist and an ABA therapist. I have experience working with clients on the autism spectrum and those with challenging behaviors.
