I have been taking care of children for much of my life. My mother, a single parent, passed when I was fifteen, leaving me to care after my much younger sibling. This often included meal preparation, helping them with schoolwork, laundry, and other household tasks. I have also helped to raise the children of my cousins. I enjoy teaching. Proficient in Japanese, I am an English tutor to Japanese children and adults via Skype. I really like caring for and working with children. I like talking to them about their interests and hopes and dreams. I want to help them write essays. I enjoy attempting to answer in detail their every curiosity about the world, to either their eventual satisfaction or exhaustion.
