Hi there! My name is Bailee Alyza Malama-Gomez, I love cats and the color blue, and happy is an understatement for how I feel re: our paths crossing on this here site. SO! I am a relatively recent Rhode Island College graduate with a major in Youth Development, minor in Queer Studies, and 3 years spent in the Feinstein School of Education's Early Childhood Education Program before switching gears (a long story I'd love to share haha). Although I still hope to share a resume that'll provide a better introduction to who I am and my deepest alignments with equitability, justice, creativity, community, and collaboration— I simultaneously hope to use the present opportunity to briefly let you all know a little more about me as I wait and look forward to learning all about YOU (all). Simply put, I really would like to build on my almost 12 years of Read more experience I have working with youth ranging from in-home childcare, overnight nannying, after-school programming and a residential psychiatric treatment facility all the way over to my first ever job as “Children’s Camp Counselor” for a summer program ran by both Boys & Girls Club and Inspiring Minds to occupy inner city youth's summer vacations with building the literacy skills of much younger youth still learning English. I am always ready to work alongside and play around with, adventure and explore near and wide beside, learn and lead with all the while in the utmost advocacy for the very youth growing up all across and nearby the same city that raised me— Providence. Please know just how much my work with children quite literally keeps me going in this life and that I thank you for even reading all of this! LOL :)
