Hi I'm a 45 year old mother of five I have been doing child care since I was 13yr old I have a disabled child and can communicate in sign language. I have just recently left a child care position that I have been doing for 15yrs the family moved to another state. I have a certificate in my completion of an emt basic course that I completed so I would be fully prepared to handle any health or accident situation not only for my children but for any of the children I care for. I have worked with troubled teens at the community police unit in Pawtucket also I worked at the YMCA in Pawtucket taking care of a group of twenty 6-8 year old children and have taken many classes while working at the YMCA. I also take many courses online in every area of child care I Read more have also raised a foster child from the age of 12yrs until she was 22yrs and moved back to north Carolina my biggest accomplishment in life has been being a great mom to my daughter's and being a great care taker of all children with whom I have ever been blessed enough to have taken care of.
