I have always really enjoyed being around and helping families look after their children. I began my babysitting journey as a Mother's Helper for my neighbors, and my babysitting career took off from there. I have had experience watching infants, toddlers, and children through the age of 14. I spent two summers watching two children, then 9-10 and 7-8, and consistently babysit when in my hometown for a family with children ages 14, 11, and 5. While in college, I babysit several times for a family with children ages 11 and 9. I also have experience working with children on the autism spectrum. My older brother has autism, and I spent my high school and college years volunteering for organizations that had teens and young adults on the autism spectrum play games and complete crafts with teen and young adults from local high schools and colleges. I am a licensed Read more speech language pathologist, and I am also certified in CPR. In addition, I am familiar with and comfortable transporting children in my car due to my past babysitting and work positions. I really enjoy getting to know new families and helping take care of and entertain their children by engaging in the children's favorite activities and by being creative. I am looking forward to being able to meet and help new families!
