Growing up in a large family, I have grown accustomed to being around and caring for young children before I can even remember. Since the age of 11, I have been babysitting family friends, cousins, local families, and neighbors. I have worked with up to four kids at a time, ranging from infants to preteens. Being very involved in my church, I have volunteered in various different child care programs such as nursery and vacation bible school, which entailed leading the children in music and dance, arts and crafts, recreational games, and learning. Currently I am seventeen years old (I had to say that I was eighteen in order to make this profile) but I am going to turn eighteen in September. I will be a senior at South Kingstown High School.
