Hello! I'm a 2nd year psychology major with a double minor in Community Based Learning and Disability Services. Through my job, volunteer, and organization experiences, I am constantly learning about what it means to provide the best possible childcare. I am passionate about assisting children/young adults with disabilities. While I have limited official babysitting experience, I have volunteered for multiple "parent's night out" events through the Lowcountry Autism Foundation and assisted in multiple classrooms as a Teacher's Assistant. Additionally, I'm currently employed as a Peer Mentor for students with disabilities on my college campus. For this role, I assist students with their life, employment, academic, and social skills,. This can look like monitoring them during their internships, leading group classes, or providing one on one support. I was recently awarded a scholarship for be"Outstanding Mentor" to recognize my dedication to and passion for the program.
