I started babysitting for my neighbors kids at the age of 12, and have consistently continued to babysit for several different families throughout the Lexington and Columbia area. I am a certified teacher with my degree in Early Childhood Education, and I am currently in my 6th year of teaching Kindergarten. I love teaching, especially teaching Kindergrten, more than anything... And I wouldn't trade it for the world. Although my passion for teaching is huge... my teaching salary unfortunately is not. I am looking for part time babysitting jobs that take place after school hours on weekdays, and I am also available on most weekends. I have several years of babysitting experience that include typical aftershool duties/activities such as: -afterschool pick up (depending on the time) -car pool to aftershool activities (practices, lessons, play dates, tutoring sessions, etc) -Homework help -Dinner and Meal Preparation for the kids -Light Cleaning and Read more chore supervision -Bedtime routines (Bathtime, teeth brushing, bedtime stories, etc.) **I own a 2016 Honda HRV that can comfortably fit three children in the back, and 1 older child in the front. I have plenty of trunk space for any necessary gear. (Strollers, book bags, and anything needed for after school activities. **I have a lot of experience working with families that have 1-4 children. I am very comfortable and open to working with families that have up to 5 children. (I am always open to babysitting for two families in one household if neighbors/friends need childcare for same event or outing.) **I have had a lot of experience working with a wide variety of ages, and I am very comfortable and knowledgeable with newborns- all the way up to the 12-14 age group.
