I haven't had children in my life for a while, but these are the things that I have done in my lifetime. Babysitting – (Late -1980’s) Cared for and looked after approximately 12 children one night per week at my home while the parents attended church meetings. I loved talking to and laughing with the children. Just being a part of their play time (playing with the toys with them) was so much fun. Believe me, at my age (52) I still have toys, hoping that I will be able to work with children again. This time not only in play, but in helping them learn, as an important part of development. (Early-1980’s) Cared for two little girls ages 3 and 4 for about a year until their parents moved. I am a caring person, believe in respecting others feelings, and am honest. Caregiver from 1998 – 2012 Provided home care; daily bathing, dressing and feeding each one. Did some grocery shopping and prepared meals daily. It was my responsibility to make sure all were comfortable. Mainly parents; have passed. While care-giving; continued to direct choir until 2008. Directed Church Choir of 12 for 23 years I enjoy playing music, yard work, talking to and helping elderly persons, and interacting with children.
