Hi, I’m Lauryn! Originally from South Carolina and currently offering services to both of the Carolinas (NC/SC), I’m an HBCU pre-law and communications graduate with a minor in sociology. With nearly nine years of childcare experience, I’ve worked with families as both a babysitter and a nanny, caring for children from infancy through elementary school. A typical day with me might include playtime, preparing meals, helping with homework, light housekeeping during nap time, and planning outings like trips to the zoo, pool, or movies. I’m not the biggest fan of screen time and prefer engaging kids in sensory-based learning activities and outdoor adventures. I believe kids thrive when they’re active, creative, and hands-on in their play. I also have a clean driving record, my own car, and full insurance, so I’m happy to help with school pickups, extracurriculars, or errands. A little bit about me: I’m the eldest of three Read more siblings and a certified tutor with a focus on English, reaching, and writing. I’m also a writing coach and love sharing my skills through one-on-one tutoring and interactive activities. I’m certified in adult and pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED through the Red Cross, and I offer beginner viola and voice lessons for kids in my community. In my free time, I enjoy running, hiking, reading, and living a mostly plant-based lifestyle. I’m passionate about building meaningful relationships with families and creating a safe, fun, and supportive environments for kids to grow. I look forward to meeting your family!
