Ihave been doing childcare for well over 13 years, broken up, so to speak. I initially started doing childcare when weu were stationed in Zaragoza, Spain when my husband was in the military. Our daughters were toddlers and I wanted playmates for them, it turned out to be an excellent decision for everyone. I continued doing childcare upon our return to the states for several years. One of the best things to happen during this timeframe was the friendship which developed resulting in my becoming godmother to one of my 'children'. Eventualled I decided to return to the 'outside' workforce where I worked in Human Resources for several years. Four years ago I decided to return to childcare where I have realized this is truly where I belong. Over the years I have taken various childcare classes, some of them informative, others not so much. Children are not little robots that can be put into categories, each child is an individual with their own personality and should be treated as such.
