I have been a child care provider in some way shape or form for at least 12 years. I, like many young people, was a sitter throughout high school and college. At this time I worked with infants through elementary school age children. In college I worked as a camp counselor for Trio Upward bound. I stayed on campus for two months with high school and middle school age children. I was responsible for keeping 20 plus campers entertained. I then went on to become a teacher. I taught Spanish and English to students from 7th through 12th grade and have been doing this for the past 6 years. I have my masters in education. I absolutely love working with children of all ages. I have endless patience and am very creative. In my classroom my philosophy has always been to put children first and have an understanding for them. Read more I know leaving your child isn't easy, as a teacher and sitter I think of each situation from the perspective of what if this were my child and make sure this philosophy guides me to respond to any situation accordingly.
