I am a graduating senior at Clemson University. I am have been taking care of children since my mother first asked me to hold my new baby sister at four years old. Since then, I have worked in the nursery at our church and volunteered in VBS. In my last two years of high school, I taught dance to students ages 4-16. During that time I also babysat for various families in my church, community, and home school group. While taking a gap year in Costa Rica, I cared for the four children in our director's family, and my Bible teacher's son between 2-3 times a week. Also during that time, I worked in an orphanage with children ranging from infants to 12 years old. I was able to take care of them even with a language barrier, but by the end of the school year, I became very advanced Read more in Spanish. I also know how to cook a wide variety of meals and snacks. The summer after my sophomore year of college, I nannied full time for a family from my church. I supersized them at the water park and the beach, prepared and cooked meals, made crafts, and made library visits. My goal is to be the best I can be at anything I try, and I hope to exceed expectations.
