Hi, my name is Virginia Bledsoe! I'm a rising senior Special Education major and CERRA Teaching Fellow at College of Charleston. I will be moving back to Charleston in August and hope to find work for the upcoming school year! For the past year, I worked at Ashley Hall as an Extended Day Caregiver for the 2-4 year-olds. Prior to that, I babysat for multiple families with children aged 5-13 for 8 years. I have some, but limited experience with children under 2 as well. As many parents want to know about health, experience, and safety, I thought I’d share training/testing I’ve done within the past year: I have completed over 25 credit hours of childcare training courses under DSS (for Ashley Hall) and have completed Bloodborne Pathogen Training twice (for AH and CofC). I have had a recent TB Test that came back negative. I have not been exposed Read more to COVID-19 and have been self-quarantining since mid-March. I’ve been extremely cautious during the pandemic and have avoided close contact with others, washed my hands frequently, and worn a mask in any public spaces. I know that health is of great concern to many parents during this time, so if you have anymore questions, I’d be more than happy to answer them!
