Hello, my name is Louise. I have returned to SC, where I was raised, after living in Oregon for 37 years. When my daughter was born, I quit my Business Office Manger job in a Jewelry store to own and operate a licensed and registered in home Family Child Care business in Oregon for twenty years from 1994-2014. My clientele consisted of children from birth to age 5 years. Most of the children came to me to me at birth and left at age five to attend Kindergarten. I taught a semi structured Preschool program to help them prepare. It was wonderful to watch the children grow up together and form great friendships. My daughter, who was a single child, greatly benefited from having the children around as she grew up. We made and have maintained many friendships from those years. I hold a CDA credential and have taken over Read more 450 clock hours of classes pertaining to child care and child development. I have a current CPR and First Aid card certified for emergency care of infants, children and adults. I worked part time with the DD2 School District since March of 2015, so therefore have been cleared through the criminal registry system of SC just as I was in Oregon. I currently work at the College of Charleston full time during the day. am looking to supplement my income caring for children on nights and weekends. I look forward to meeting new families.
