I have worked with children for a very long time. I began when I was 17 and worked for my Aunt after she had her 3rd child. A few months after he was born she had to return to work and she had 3 children under the age of 5 so I came over every morning and left in the evening when she came home from work. I did this for a year until I went off to college. When I was 20 I was hired by a family to stay with and watch their newborn which I did for another year. Until I had to move away from the city for personal reasons. Then when I was 24 a friend needed help with her new born. I have a lot of experience with newborn babies and toddlers. However I have over the years of managing the Children's section of Read more a well known bookstore gained experience in working with older children as well. Not only that but I took on babysitting gigs from time to time as well.
