I’ve always loved being around kids because they have such fun personalities and no two days are ever the same. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each child, figuring out what they like, and building a relationship with them. Whether that means playing outside, doing crafts, helping with homework, reading books, or having a dance party in the living room, I love being engaged and making sure they’re having fun while staying safe. I have experience with a wide range of ages and personalities. I work as an after-school/summer counselor at Carolina Park Elementary and I also work as a substitute teacher while attending the University of Alabama. I’ve also done quite a bit of babysitting and nannying. During my spring break this year, I nannied a newborn and a 2-year-old, and over winter break I cared for an 18-month-old. Those experiences gave me a lot of confidence caring for Read more younger children and keeping up with the routines, patience, and flexibility that come with them. I’m CPR certified, dependable, and someone who genuinely enjoys being active and involved rather than just sitting on my phone. I love being outdoors, going on walks, playing games, and finding ways to keep kids entertained and engaged. My goal is always for parents to feel completely comfortable leaving their children with me and for their kids to have a great time while I’m there!
