Hello, I am Cheyenne. I am a veteran teacher of 16 years and a mother of two. As my children have grown old enough to be more self-reliant, I am interested in returning to my first love of teaching or childcare as an alternative to classroom teaching. Before children, I was a nanny for 2 families in Savannah, GA. I later started a total language solutions company, Bilingual Familia Consulting & International School. My company won numerous awards, including Best Kid's Language Classes for the entire Southeast and Small Business Rockstar Award from the State of Georgia. In addition to 9 years as the company's founder and Lead Teacher, we were featured in several front page articles and vlogs. I also have 4 years of formal classroom teaching experience and 2 years of teaching experience at Athens Technical College and Savannah Technical College. I am currently working on renewing my Read more state certification in Spanish, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Art, and Teaching English Language Learners. For the past 8 years, I have been a realtor which has allowed me the flexibility and income to be able to put my children's needs first. However, real estate does not give me the sense of purpose that I previously found in Teaching and/or being a private Nanny. As I apply for formal teaching roles, I am also very interested in working with a family as an alternative to classroom teaching. I am passionate about supporting the next generation with empathy, education, efficiency, and bespoke care.
