Hi I'm Jennifer, and I run an In Home Child Care service. WHY I DO THIS: The law only requires a day care to have 1 adult per 4-6 children depending on their age. To me, this is very scary, and leaves me uneasy knowing there are simply too many children for 1-2 people to truly care for. This is where I come in. I have been operating with 2 children only, one being my own, & have decided to add 1 more child to our group! This will give your child the experience of being and playing with other children, so there is always a friend for your little one but not TOO many. The reason I began doing this on my own, from my home, is so parents like myself can have someone give their child adequate attention while keeping them & still give them children to be Read more around to develop crucial social skills. You get to avoid silly $400 weekly day care fees, and eliminate those late fees when you are running a little late picking up your little one.
