Hi! My name is Maliah I am a rising senior at the University of South Carolina Upstate. My major is Business Administration and Management. I have been babysitting since I’ve been 10 years old. I started off with just watching my younger brother for short periods of time and gradually I had started watching other children that were either my family or family friends children. I have a pretty big family so I was usually needed to take care of the younger children. I prefer to care for up to 3 or 4 children at the most at one time but I have watched 6 to 8 children at a time regularly. I am great with kids and I love to be around kids. Talking to them and making relationships with them can be so fun, exciting and creative. Children are sponges that absorb any and all influences whether they’re Read more good or bad. I would like to give your children something more. A great role model for them to look up too, a mentor for them to learn from, and a real friend for them to bond and play with. A typical day for me begins with a morning meditation to focus my mind on a daily task/goal. I then drink some herbal tea and do a workout either in my house or I go to the gym. I then shower and get my day started. I work on whatever project I have focused on for the day and WORK for as long as I can. I take breaks periodically by reading, drawing or painting, or some other creative way to express my energy.
