Hello! I first started working with kids a couple years ago at a daycare, and now I am a part-time nanny for a few families during the week. My husband and I recently moved to Rapid City in January of 2022, but fell in love with the black hills years prior. I graduated at the end of 2021 with my fire science degree, and was offered a job on the city fire department back home in Iowa. I, however, chose to leave my hometown in order to create the life I had dreamt of having. I am CPR and first aid certified, and successfully completed the EMT certification course while I was working on my degree. I grew up with four brothers, and being the only girl has given me both tough skin and the knowledge of all sides of being a child (including/especially the mischievous side). My skills include, when it comes to being a sitter: being a pretty great cook, making an actual hobby of cleaning/organizing, staying calm when kids are screaming in your ear, and connecting with people.
