Hi there! My name is Nadia. :) To tell you a little bit about myself, I am 18 years old and recently moved to South Dakota from California about a year ago. My grandparents live here and my family wanted to be closer to them. :) I attended high school at Thousand Oaks High School in Thousand Oaks, California. There, I was apart of the ASB committee, and was enrolled in Honors English. Some of my proudest moments there include when I was involved with the Junior Achievement Program, where I had volunteered to visit a 5th grade class, to help students learn more about the business community, and career goals. Another accomplishment I am proud of was being assigned as a mentor to a 1st grade elementary student, as well as a 7th grade middle school student. My role was to be a guidance as well as a role Read more model to both of these students. I spent time with each of them once a week for 30 minutes. There, we got to know each other, and I would help them with any difficulty they were facing. l enjoyed both of those students company very much and am glad I was able to be a positive influencer in their lives. :) Not only do I love spending time with children, I am a huge animal lover as well! I’ve voluntarily looked after coworkers dogs overnight and have volunteered at an animal shelter. People would describe my personality as bubbly, upbeat yet mature as well, caring, motivated, and responsible. I love interacting and being around children of all ages! Growing up, I’ve babysat for my neighbors as well as family friends. Overall, I’ve looked after children between the ages of 3-13. I can cook, clean, and help with homework. I enjoy crafts, outdoor activities, reading, drawing, and board games. I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have! I look forward to meeting you and your family! :)
