Hello! My name is Karen Dreier and I live in Sioux Falls. I have experience working with children since high school. I babysat in high school eventually moving to Lifescape Children's services when I was 18 years old. There I worked with children with disabilities. I was at Lifescape for 5 years while working on my undergraduate degree in psychology. I also began working at Children's home society during that time. Once I completed my undergraduate degree, I transitioned to Avera Behavioral Health on the child and adolescent units. While at Avera, I pursued my masters program. My husband and I decided to become foster parents and had a couple placements. We decided to let our license lapse ad I got busier with school. I eventually finished my masters in social work. Shortly after I transitioned to Avera Outpatient Counseling, primarily working with children. I am currently an outpatient therapist Read more at MK Counseling specializing in working with children. I have a need for some supplemental income right now and figured why not do what I do best.
