I have always loved working with and taking care of children. My degree is in Human Services and I plan to work in group homes for youth. I had a lot of experience working with children when I interned at a homeless shelter for women and children. I worked with children of all ages. Infants to teenagers. My obligations during my internship consisted of many things but when the parents were away I would be in charge of multiple children. I would create activities, both indoors and outdoors, for the children. Some of the older children needed help with their academics so I would even help tutor them as well.
