About Me: My name is Courtney McCoy. I'm 22 (about to be 23) and absolutely adore kids and animals. The best part is, they love me, too! I am currently working full-time at a portrait studio but will be leaving my job for school related reasons and hoping to pick up a couple of babysitting jobs to supplement my partner's income and relieve some of the stress a 40+ hour a week job can put on a person! Life Experience: I am a photographer by trade, so making kids and babies happy and comfortable is my MO. I am somewhat of a clown and I am exceptionally good at calming down disgruntled babies and toddlers. I have a lot of tricks up my sleeve and a ton of patience. Babysitting Experience I have babysat for my friends and family members (my brother has three children) on multiple occasions. I have Read more experience putting kids to bed, getting kids ready for the day, giving baths and meals, finding and/or creating playtime activities, taking kids to and from parks/playgrounds/school, and being a fun companion that kids love. Schedule: I am currently attending Bryan College, so my schedule needs to be flexible enough for me to complete my school work and attend my Thursday night classes. In family emergencies, I can be there within an hour at most, depending on traffic. I am very comfortable with my smartphone, and I am usually a call or text away. I can be flexible and work easily with your work/school schedule. I am also available weekends if you need to run errands, pick up shifts, etc. Work with me, and I'll work with you! :) Privacy: Unless otherwise agreed upon, I will not take any photos of your son/daughter, formal or informal. I will not use facebook at any time during my time spent with your children so I don't accidentally 'check-in' and reveal your home's or school's location. I am very cautious about kidnappers and child predators. If you have any other special requests, we can discuss them at the interview or whatever time you feel appropriate.
