Hello. My name is Karen and I am 47 years old. I have been looking after children for most of my life. I started babysitting as a teenager, then it was for my cousins, neighbors, friends, nieces and nephews. Although most of this has been unpaid and in an unprofessional setting, I am very comfortable with children and they respond well to me also. I am strict but fair and playful and will adhere rigorously to the rules set out by the parents. I believe children respond best when they are happy and engaged and my strategy is independence within limits.
