I am new to Nashville, but am loving it as a city! I recently graduated from Bentley University in May of 2013. I have been babysitting since I was about 13 for my three cousins. Their ages now range from 6-16 but I have been taking care of the two younger ones since they were born. Last summer,I took care of three children in Westborough, Massachusetts for five months. The twins were 6 and the older daughter was 8. This was full-time during the summer and after school once school started. We would go for trips to the local parks and playgrounds, spend some afternoons at the library, and have "tutor time" once a week with the twins when their sister had her reading tutor come by. I personally think it greatly helped them as they were just starting kindergarten and already had a huge head start in writing and Read more math.
