I have a passion for working with children. I have a degree specializing in child development - specifically child psychology and expressive arts therapy. I’ve spent the last 8 years nannying and teaching music. My goal is to foster a tailored environment for each child in my care, as all children learn and grow differently. I believe a well balanced combination of unstructured child-led exploration(ie make believe, pretend play, dancing etc) and structured activities (ie educational content, crafts, reading etc) creates an atmosphere where children thrive. I follow “gentle parenting” practices and encourage age-appropriate communication and redirection when necessary.
