My name is Alyssa Whittemore, I’m currently 20 years old and am attending Columbia State Community College. I started babysitting in sixth grade and went on to nanny two children in our neighborhood. While I attended Franklin High, I took a Healthcare class where I learned CPR. I also took a class called, Early Childhood Education for two years. I really enjoyed this class. There I got to work with babies, toddlers, and children up to five years old on a daily basis. With these children we created a classroom for them by coming up with educational activities for them to do and games for them to play. In the past, I have been a worker at SACC (an after school care program with Williamson County Schools). There I worked with children who were kindergarten through fifth grade. Because of my love for children. I’m currently studying to become a Read more Pediatric Social Worker.
